ShopWestAtl’s 2021 Juneteenth activities are all about celebrating the economic freedom and entrepreneurial resilience that is alive and well in Southwest Atlanta.
Meet & Greet: SHOPWESTATL’s BLACK BUSINESS OWNERS’ BREAKFAST Saturday June 19, 2021 8:30a - 9:30a.
ShopWestATL – a community-based collaboration between the Georgia Microenterprise Network, Georgia Watch and the Atlanta Wealth Building Initiative – will host a Black Business Owners’ Breakfast for Southwest Atlanta business owners of African descent on Saturday June 19, 2021.
The breakfast will be held from 8:30 to 9:30a at D Café at 1550 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd.
Business owners will be treated to complimentary breakfast, coffee and juice while mingling with fellow business owners and learning about the results of this year’s ShopWestAtl campaign. Come enjoy breakfast on us and share your thoughts and ideas for creating stronger, more resilient businesses in Southwest Atlanta.

Shop & Play: Visit SHOPWESTATL’S JUNETEENTH STIMULUS STATION Saturday June 19, 2021 from 12p - 4p.
Stop by the K’nekt at 1492 Ralph David Abernathy and get free SWAgBucks to spend and limited edition ShopWestAtl tees when you show your love for black-owned businesses in Southwest Atlanta.

ShopWestAtl invites black-owned businesses in Westview and West End to participate in our Juneteenth promotion: SWAgBucks
How It Works:
On Saturday, June 19 2021, SWA will host a live ‘Stimulus Station’ event at the K’nekt where promotional money aka, SWAgBucks will be distributed to attendees throughout the day.
In exchange for participating in either a survey, a social share or a brief video recording, participants will have the option to receive SWAgBucks valued at $10 each. SWAgBucks can be used as cash at participating businesses in Westview on Saturday June 19 only, from 10a to 4pm.
SWA will ‘cash-out’ all SWAgBucks redeemed at participating businesses to the business owner / manager at the end of the promotional event on Saturday June 19.
This promotion is designed to drive additional traffic and awareness to black-owned businesses in West End and Westview on Saturday, June 19 (Juneteenth).
